Yard Work

I think between trade shows for work, scout camp and Woodbadge, Kirk was gone every weekend in September. We are closing in on winter and still don't have the yard quite ready. There isn't a lot of time left to do yard work and the garage is still a mess from building the chicken coop. So this Saturday we decided to clean out the garage and maybe weed the yard one more time. We had kids doing all kinds of things to help. And, of course, they are as happy as any normal kid would be to help :)

Well, this is what happens when you have 2 teenagers working together: they are easily distracted.

And then make you believe that it is SO hard and SO scary...





And maybe they wouldn't get damaged if they ACTUALLY GOT TO WORK!


Bunch of GOOFY kids! Sometimes I actually long for the days that I could just screw around all day and laugh...
