Well, it was just a matter of time

Allen has been getting so good on his bike! The little guy is amazing. All he wants to do is ride. We go on a bike ride every day now and are having a great time. But the first crash was inevitable and today it happened. He was showing off a little, OK a LOT for Julie and Ashlyn. He got going too fast and tried to do the trick of taking his feet off the pedals. When he turned to see if we were looking, he lost control and hit the sidewalk with his face. I heard the thud and expected a lot worse. There was really no bleeding, just a briuse that spread slowly over his right eye. His left cheek was damaged yesterday by tripping and hitting my sewing machine box. Poor kid now looks like he's been through the war!!
